No Hard Feelings utilizes material from a variety of evidence-based models, incorporating key concepts from Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness practice and Psychosocial Rehabilitation, as well as the timeless philosophical ideas of Greek and Roman philosophers.

The majority of the skills presented in No Hard Feelings are adapted from Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), originally developed by Dr. Marsha Linehan.
